Our Services

We offer a variety of services to meet your horse training and riding needs.

Training

Training for horses of all levels - general riding, 4-H, open show, breed level, up to World and Congress level competition.

Riding Lessons

Horseback riding lessons and instruction for riders of all levels.

Horses Available for Purchase

We have horses for sale of all levels from general riding, 4-H, to breed show level.

Horse Sales

We can market and sell your horse including videos and ad placement. Commission fee is 10% of final sale.

Clinics

Drew has conducted many successful clinics for 4-H to breed level.

Judging

Drew has judged many 4-H and open shows.

Price List

Effective 11/1/2025

Training

  • Full Training including standard care board is $1,100 per month. There is a 2 month minimum for horses in training.
  • Partial Training is available dependent upon training level of the horse after 2 months of full training.
  • Minimum SPH Program - Standard care board plus three (3) sessions per week. Sessions can be a combination of training rides and/or 30 minute lessons. Minimum cost is $960 per month.
  • Blanket Service - For horses requiring the services of blankets/sheets/hoods, there will be an additional charge of $50 added to the board October-March.
  • Lessons - $60 per lesson per horse; lessons are 1 hour.
  • Handling Fee for vet/farrier/chiropractor - $25/hour, minimum $25.

Showing

  • Horse Show Day Fees are $50 per day, including all traveling and set up days.
  • Special Events (World or National shows lasting 4 days or longer) - $100 per day.
  • Day fees include coaching/instruction, trainer working/riding and showing your horse as needed, and reasonable show supplies. Excessive show supplies will be charged at cost.
  • Mileage/Trailering fees are $1.00 per mile. There is a $50 minimum per horse.
  • Mileage/trailering fees include hauling and loading/unloading horses.
  • Owner Responsibility - Owner is responsible for all their own equipment, supplies, tack, clothing, and other belongings. SPH is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or misplaced items.
  • Camping/Hotel - Split between customers.
  • Meals - $45 per day per SPH employee, split between customers.
  • Tack Stall(s) - Split between customers.

Other Fees

  • Show Clipping - $25. Additional charges for problem horses. Show clipping will not be charged for horses in full time training attending shows.
  • Body Clipping - $150. Additional charges for problem horses.
  • Sale Fee - 10% of final sale price.
  • Vet, Farrier, and Chiropractor costs are billed directly to the clients unless other arrangements are made.
